The view from the Ponti is unbeatable - looking past the city walls into the valley. The service is also excellent and quite speedy by Italian standards. The menu offers classic dishes from the area including some more unusual ragu sauces (duck, rabbit, etc). While a smaller menu, everything I have had here is quite good.Its also a great place to get an aperitif or to watch the sunset over dinner.

We were looking for the kebap in the Volterra and we found Mesopotamia Kebap. Meat was very good, but there wasn't much sauce. Price was good. 8/10

Visitiamo lo store annesso al caseificio Pinzani in una calda mattina d'agosto.L'ambiente e' sorprendente,un moderno open space con isola centrale di presentazione dei prodotti.Veniamo assistiti da una carinissima,gentilissima e competentissima ragazza (signor Pinzani,se la tenga stretta!),che ci guida attraverso un assaggio dei pecorini con annessa spiegazione rapida e chiara.La qualita' dei formaggi e' molto alta,cosi' come la varieta'.Possibile anche una piccola ristorazione con mirata propsta enologica.L'acquisto sara' inevitabile.Ne uscirete molto soddisfatti,sia per l'accoglienza che per il trattamento,e soprattutto per le delizie che avrete in borsa.Molti complimenti per tutta la proposta,continuate cosi'!

Un apericena con grigliata all'aperto, con Palazzo dei Priori a osservarci maestoso a poca distanza e della buona musica suonata dal vivo. Un posto molto carino, fresco e raccolto. C'era molta gente per l'evento, ma abbiamo assaggiato tutto e con gusto (soprattutto l'hamburger, da manuale, e la panzanella). Adeguato il costo, ottima l'atmosfera.

Conveniently located in Piazza dei Priori, which locals consider the center of town, Bar Priori offers outdoor seating and good, casual food and drinks. . . and great people watching. We stopped for a late afternoon quick bite and were not disappointed. My wife had a Tomato Bruschetta that was as attractive as it was tasty (see photo). My Ham and Cheese Stromboli, on the other hand, was kinda boring (photo). Nothing really wrong with it --- just bland. So, I helped her finish off the Bruschetta. It went nicely with a glass of Chianti. Our server was fast and friendly. The prices were pretty reasonable considering the location --- 8 euro for one sandwich and 7 for the other and 5 euro for the glass of wine.
