Apparently right as we walked in the restaurant had also seated two larger groups. That said our service was down right terrible, got orders wrong, some didnât even come out and the food was pretty bad. Gumbo was very salty, New York strip had zero taste, burger was cold, etc. Waitress said it was her 2nd week working but it seemed like more her second week as a waitress in general - did not know the job. Brought our concerns up with the manager, who was busy diffusing other poor experiences, gave us a gift card and encouraged us to try again. I think we will use the gift card as a promotional business gift and will not personally return. Cute downtown, bad service, almost worse food.

Went with my family again after the Peachtree Road Race on the 4th of July and this year they got it right. The food was delicious and the service was improved over last year. We had two appetizers, onion rings and chili cheese fries. Both were gone quickly and just as lunch arrived. Everyone enjoyed their meals, from various burgers to grilled chicken salad and we were given the "bottomless fries" without having to ask. This time a winner!

Met friends at Dillons to see some live music of Saturday night. Obviously has many regular patrons. Most folks new each other. Service was very friendly and attentive. Had chicken bites and fried pickle appetizers. Chicken was good. Pickles were very good. I would definitely recommend them!

Tooey's inhabits a space that was once a Taco Mac and the interior décor can best be described as "unintentionally rustic". Not a complaint ,but an observation, as the place has a comfortable, welcoming feel to it. We came as a party of six without a reservation, and they had no trouble accommodating us seating or service-wise. At its core, Tooey's is a neighborhood sports bar that offers typical sports bar fare (wings, nachos, sandwiches, etc) in conjunction with free bar trivia and a bevy of flat screens tuned to major sporting events: They just have better customer service and much better food than most! Nice little spot!

This is the home of the â$100 Hamburgerâ to any enthusiastic pilot. What does that mean? Well, youâll have to go and find out for yourself. Cheeseburgers cost only $10.45. The locals affectionately refer to this restaurant as the-hole-in-the-wall. A lot of locals meet up here. The models of the airplanes hanging from the ceiling tiles add a nice touch. The prices are reasonable, and there is seating available outdoors. Generally speaking, the surrounding area of Lawrenceville is full of franchises. It is refreshing to see a mom-and-pop restaurant nestled among the mainstream businesses. The parking lot is spacious. And, after looking around the restaurant, you will conclude that someone affiliated with this business has a quirky sense of humor. If you are in the area, stop in. You might even be able to eavesdrop on a conversation between pilots and mechanics.
