Along the Pilgrim’s Road, the town has preserved churches, convents and many other structures important to the history of this region in Spain. We spent a few hours slowly walking around the inside and outside of this beautiful building - there is so much to see and take in, so much detail in the construction, and the natural light inside shows off Gaudi's incredible talent.

The Astorga town square is full of restaurants and shops and is a great meeting place for friends and pilgrims. On the camino route, you will see lots of hikers trekking through.
