Took family out for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. There was only one other family in the restaurant at the time.Restaurant is nice -could use some updating. Decor is a little outdated. Food was OK . the steak Gyro was very good . pasta not much to get excited about. Staff was polite and prompt and very attentive.Locals say the pizza is very good. May or may not try this restaurant again.
We love their thin crust pizzas; they're just right and taste like a really good flat bread pizza. The sauce is not too spicy, and their ingredients are very tasty as well. The establishment seems dirty, though... the floor needs cleaning. We love their staff! They are so genuinely friendly...always with a big smile and they aim to please.
I enjoy the food at Zaxby's and this place was no exception. The wings and the fingers were done to perfection, the fries were great, and there were plenty of napkins. After that everything goes down hill. The most discomforting issue was the level of the music. It was so loud at the point where you place your order I had difficulty understanding the less than friendly lady behind the register. Even in the seating area the music was so loud my wife and I had difficulty conversing. One excellent point: Two TV's on different news stations - NO SPORTS! Excellent. The ice component of the hundreds of flavors of soda machine was empty. Took my cup back to the less than friendly lady, and asked for ice and she gave me ice with no comment, no smile, no "I'm sorry the machine is broken, etc." Ice, nothing else. I walk back to the tea canisters and the unsweet is empty. Back to the less than friendly lady, again. I told her the tea canister was empty and she gave me a blank stare and took my cup to the drive through area to fill. Again, no comment, etc., but she did get someone to change the tea canister. As we're getting ready to leave I went to the cup lid machine and it did not work, this is a new one where you pull down the door and out pops one lid, and this is great for sanitation, etc. I mentioned this to the very nice lady who was cleaning the area and all the tables, etc in the restaurant, and she told me of all the problems with the device. None of the four doors would give you one lid. Her words were, "I think they're going to order a new one."This Zaxby's is on the edge of impending disaster like so many other places in the area. I hope the owner, manager, someone in authority sees this and makes some corrections to the above situations. And they have a "HELP WANTED" sign on the street.
its my favorite place to get gyros. They will fix it exactly how you like it. the food is good. the dining room is small but this place mainly does delivery.
Nice little joint hidden in the middle of Campbell University. Food was served piping hot, salad and pasta portions were big. Pizza ordered was a small but adequate for one person. Crust was a little greasy and garlicky. But overall was a good pizza. Salad was fresh and big. Appearance was perfect, but the greens were a little too big. Chicken fettuccine alfredo, portion was big. Had good flavor, but needed less oil and more cheese. It was not a traditional creamy alfredo. Service was good.
