This place is off the beaten path. They cook your pizza in the fire pit. They also have salads and calzones. We got a pizza and salad. They were both very good. They only have 4 tables with little atmosphere. Definitely a great place to get your pizza to go.

My wife and I had driven by many times and never stopped to eat at Carmela's- it just didn't look real impressive. Tonight we decided to actually give it a try based on the reviews that we read on Trip Advisor and Wow! we were surprised!The menu is pretty typical of most Italian restaurants in the area. I asked our server (Jessie- who was awesome) about the veal, I didn't want one of those pre-processed patties that so many places serve. She told me that it was fresh real so I decided to give the real parm a shot and she was right, it was absolutely fabulous veal and the dish was delicious. My wife had French onion soup and a delmonico (ribeye) steak. Steak cooked perfectly and the soup was delicious and piping hot. The salad bar was simple but very nice and everything fresh. It was a pleasant surprise and we're planning on going back soon!Thanks Jessie- great job!

We ate at the "Ye Olde Sub Shop" today. The owner has owned it for over 40 years. The food was outstanding, the price was competitive and our server Kendra was very personable and the owner (Jan) was great too. I was very pleased with how clean the place was including the restroom. My wife and I both said we would go back for sure.
