Well it's not located with a beach view or anything but quite close if you wanted to saunter after a meal. The food is quite good and the service extremely warm. We had a reservation and when we found our table to be next to a noisy big group, we were moved to a different table without even asking. The gnocchi is melt in the mouth stuff and the pizzas authentic. Definitely worth a visit.Thank you very much, we are very glad you enjoyed your visit and meal. Perhaps I am biased but I do agree, the gnocchi is fantastic! Good choice :D

I had eaten here on a previous visit, and was not disappointed. We ate on a table outside (covered and heated). Service was great, Food even better -- the best Giardina pizza I have ever had, over-endowed with veg, and simply delicious. The vanilla ice cream/bakhlava was stupendous, and enough for the three of us! We brought our own wine and paid corkage. Very good value at A$86 for three.

Three of us ate lunch inside on a hot December day. I had the lunch special -- pasta, salad, and a glass of wine for $15. I had pasta Calabrese, which was well prepared and beautifully spiced. The house wine was good enough that I ordered a second glass. My companions both had fish and chips, one fried and the other grilled. Both were reported to be excellent. With wine, sweets, and coffees we spent about $35 each. The service was friendly and informal, sometimes to the point of forgetfulness -- this could be improved. There is a long list of pizzas, available only at dinner, and we will be back to try them.

Tried Joe's 18 months ago and found pizza average and over priced for what else you can get locally. When speaking of my experience to others they seemed genuinely shocked claiming food was great. Thought I would try them again and ordered take away pizza and pasta. Ordered the Napoletana pasta and received the calabrese instead. That translates to asking for no meat and getting a spicy full of hot salami pasta. I rang them once I discovered the error at home and was told "this was very unlike them" after prompting I was offered a replacement. Being that the rain was pouring and the rest of the family had finished their meals, could not be bothered going out to get it. Only after telling them that I thought I would try their restaurant tonight again after an average experience last time and based on this I wouldn't be back, did I get a little "sorry" Food cost over $40 dollars for 2 pizzas and a pasta. Much better options in Mentone.
