KHANAGi utilizes locally sourced toppings and sides (such as jams, pickled products, cheese, qiamaq) from families in Kabul. KHANAGi functions in a more socially-responsible and sustainable capacity, providing economic opportunities and purpose to many more than merely the individuals working in the shop.

Mid week evening dinner, excellent italian fare, really enjoyed the pizza, one of the best I have had in Kabul outside of Gandamack, but Boccaccio has the advantage of fortress-like security since the tragic incident at La Taverna. Nice cappucinos too. Still has the Ukrainian waitresses. The good food and the good security make it a great eating-out option.

The restaurant is quite with a friendly staff. The pizza come the closest the home. It has a regular crust and sauce. The topping for fresh and the cheese is cook just right. The best pizza I have had in Kabul. I really enjoy the pizza here and I would recommend it.
