Tour du Fanal is a lighthouse. This Lighthouse was built in the middle of the 17th century in order to facilitate the guidance of merchant ships as they entered the harbour. It is quite photogenic and it certainly attracts the attention of visitors. It was supposed to be able to be seen by merchant ships from as far as twenty kilometres away! Today visitors can climb up and enjoy the panoramic views it offers on a sunny day.

The best way to enjoy the 360 degree view of the city, is to experience the big wheel ride. The ticket costs 8 euros per person but the spectacular view is worth it all.
