On the advice of friends and a recommendation by Anthony Bourdain no less, we stopped off at this tiny little wine bar and ended up spending the evening. We shared some cheese and charcuterie plates and chatted with the staff and locals who are very knowledgeable and quite friendly. A big plus for me, no headache after we polished off two bottles of red!

Having read about the restoration of the hotel and its connection to the repatriation of French Jews returning from the concentration camps at the end of WW2 we stopped for lunch. Sadly no one was aware of the history. I was disappointed that this was not celebrated. We were greeted warmly and seated immediately. We enjoyed a fabulous lunch with excellent service in a splendid atmosphere! Be proud of your history and celebrate it!
