Old Town

This historic part of Nice feels like a medieval village with narrow streets curving between old buildings with red-tile roofs, small restaurants and open-markets.

Large Old Town area incorporating a wonderful flower market, small shops in narrow, historic winding alleys and streets selling anything and everything, thoroughly enjoyable time with great cafes/restaurants full of locals enjoying coffee, snacks and meals.

Place Rossetti in the heart of the Old Town is a great place to stop if you have been wandering round the narrow lanes and alleyways of Nice, it offers a beautiful view of the Cathedral Sainte Reparate; and has a number of small bars and restaurants. Try the Ice-cream at Fenocchio's!

Le Suquet

Fantastic area for a leisurely stroll on a summer day. Quite a few cafes and restaurants along the way, which made it easy to stop and refuel. The old cobble-stoned winding streets take you back to the days gone by - the streets have been there for hundreds of years! Oh and don't forget to stop over at La Gelateria to try one of their amazing flavours. Highly recommended.

Port de Sainte-Maxime

In the heart of Ste Maxime, the port is home to 800 pleasure crafts and around a dozen fishing boats. Stroll on the Leon Condroyer pier, which was completely refurbished in 2013. The Harbour master's office, whose architecture is reminiscent of the silhouette of a ship, has a range of services for recreational boaters.

If you like nice quiet marinas you should really stop at this one. It has a really nice clean charm about it. It has an area you go go up to a second level and get some nice photos as well. There area also some nice murals along some of the walls. There are some cool stores at this marina although I think the one I went into was a bit pricey. This place also has really really nice restrooms to use that are super clean. Just make sure you give the attendant a tip as they work hard to keep it clean!
