Noosa is a world-famous surfing destination, known for its expansive beaches and colorful bays. Hike across Noosa National Park's cliffs and forests, canoe through the Noosa River Everglades, kayak across the open sea or just bask in the sunshine on golden sand that stretches and sparkles for miles. A day trip to nearby Fraser Island, a World Heritage Site where lush rainforests mingle with dry sand dunes, is a unique experience not to be missed.

Tracey Keller Gallery

Nature at its most frank, kind and self-revelatory provides the starting point for each of Tracey Keller's playful paintings. Working with an aesthetic that varies from hyperrealism to her own brand of quirky impressionism, she creates comic and endearing portraits of animals.

Tracey's art is a kaleidoscope of wonderful colours and happiness inspired by wildlife and pets. We scooped up 3 originals while there without any intention of doing so when we walked in. Our home has been brought to life by elephants, orangutans and sea turtles and we are hoping for whales on our return to Noosa. Wonderful place that brings a smile as soon as you walk through the door. Thanks to Tracey for producing such a wonderful selection of paintings and prints and to the team for doing such a great job of getting them over to Singapore.

This gallery is magical. To be able to see the work of such a huge, international talent right here on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia is something else. Added to the awe of Peter Phillip's artwork is the paradisal setting of the gallery itself. Palm trees tower over the lush, tropical, meandering gardens, birdsong fills your ears and a sense of peace envelops you. Visit the Phillips Gallery and you will be enriched.

There is no such gallery in Noosa but the Regional Gallery in Tewantin is easy to get to by road, bus or (best of all) ferry. There were 3 small exhibitions on display - all Australian/local artists - and all quite innovative and of a national standard. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff and the gift shop has a good range of items for sale.
