The seafront large monument dedicated to the first King of Bosnia is located on the on the popular pedestrian street (Šetalište Pet Danica), close to the fortress Forte Mare and the city's marina. A member of the House of Kotromanić, he's widely considered one of the country's greatest medieval rulers. Besides, he's the founder of Herceg Novi. Tvrtko I extended medieval Bosnia's borders to their farthest limits, left a strong economy, and improved the living standards of his subjects. Overall, A well made sculpture surrounded by palm trees, a canon and an anchor. Well kept place. Convenient location. Wonderful surroundings. Beautiful views. Close to other sights, restaurants, cafes shops and more. Good spot (any time of the day) for photo ops. Definitely, a popular spot. Well worth a visit.
