Quite an amazing place to see as so imposing The visit took 1 1/2 hours and we went as happened to be camping very close by. I thought it was good that the main audio pieces were available to play in several different languages. The one inside the main bunker upset my 11 years old as the treatment of concentration camp victims is never easy to describe. But both children (7 and 11) really enjoyed the visit as did I.

A pleasant area, with a decent beach, the Fort, per se, the estuary (where La Slack discharges itself into the sea), and the aesthetics of villas built during the Belle Époque period. Quiet, peaceful and relaxing - well worth a trip.
