A lovely meal in a lovely setting with excellent service. A great choice on the menu for starters and main dishes. In fact, we had difficulty choosing our main courses as there was such a good for choice. All freshly prepared with fresh ingredients. The staff were helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be visiting again.

Went on a Saturday evening, the restaurant was quiet and I understood why when the food came. Meat grill all tough except for chicken, vegetarian choice poor, had to option of making veggie starter made larger and not worth doubling price for! Olives salty, pitted straight out of brine, what a shame as I’d looked at previous reviews that were good.

We had great service with fantastic food. Very reasonably priced (they have happy hour on the menu for more than an hour). Who knew we would find a gem like this in Middlesbrough. Some popular Newcastle restaurants ought to look at their food and service and the prices they charge. We will definitely try other branches.

Nice environment, different from the typical places you go to, pleasant staff, timely serving of food and reasonably priced.Starters were served within fifteen minutes and the main's followed just over ten minutes after. The mixed grille was a fair size but far too dry and slightly overcooked. The accompanying salad was not at all appetising and if anything added to through dryness.Upon sitting down we noticed that our dishes were somewhat grimy but got them changed without a fuss.At the end of our meal when asking for the bill we were overcharged. However that was promptly corrected by the staff. All in all a nicer experience than most local places and a pleasant change from the norm.

Great - Modern Greek Food

We got a takeaway from Great tonight for the first time in a long time. Previously we had been regular customers and always enjoyed our meal. Tonight though was a disappointment. The chips are store bought despite being advertised as “homemade” and were just pale and soggy. The old chips were lovely and we missed them as part of our meal tonight. The chicken was chewy and fatty and my son couldn’t eat his dinner because he now doesn’t enjoy it.Until we start seeing some better reviews and the chips are done properly again we won’t be ordering again. Sorry. It used to be our favourite place and even where we went for our annual date night.Hi,Sorry to hear your takeaway meal wasn't up to scratch. We understand that you have contacted through Facebook and you have liaised with the team through there. We have had some issues recently and are addressing them and hope you do give us another opportunity to try and be one of your favourite places again. Many thanks
