Umi offers a unique twist to the traditional Japanese cuisine in Central Florida. Every menu item is prepared by using meticulous methods starting from the preparation down to the execution. The dishes express refinement and art in the chefs final present
We've been coming here since it first opened and it only gets better.Last month we went to a nearby competitor and the crowd and noise level there was horrific so we returned to UMI Saturday night and had another great meal as usual. Our server Louis took good care of us and even the owner came out and greeted us. That is why we always try and visit "mom n pop" independent restaurants because of the personal touch they give. The simple spicy tuna is still my favorite dish.If you go on the weekend make sure you make reservations!

My wife and I visited Domu for lunch yesterday. We ordered the Domu Wings and the Richie Rich. The Domu Wings were addictive! The wings are tender and juicy with a sublimely crisp breading and covered in a flavorful honey-like glaze. The Richie Rich ramen was a delicious combination of flavors and textures: savory thin noodles, tender and nicely fatty pork belly, crisp scallions, and a soft yolky egg sat in a bowl of lightly sweet milky broth. Overall, Domu is a nice spot for quality ramen.

We have been coming here for 4 years and it is the best sushi we have ever had. The sushi chefs are friendly and go out of their way to make the freshest sushi the way you want it. I highly recommend it. You won't be disappointed!

I enjoy sushi more than most other "ethnic" foods. Of all the sushi restaurants in the Winter Park area, Fuji is liked because the food is well prepared, the prices are affordable and there is a variety of rolls and dishes you can try. We have been here several times and it does not disappoint.

I'm a regular visitor here even though there are closer options to my house. The key to sushi is freshness and presentation, and Arigato does both very well. The chefs take good care with the presentation; their sushi rolls are larger than most places I've been (including Japan!) and they do a "custom" roll very well if you know what you want. I have been ordering a special roll each time (hoping they will add it to their permanent menu...hint, hint!) and they always do a very nice job. One large roll, plus an order or two of sashimi, and you will not leave hungry. The teriyaki/hibachi entrees are acceptable, nothing to write home about, but good for the non-sushi folks in your party (I have one in mine). The tuna or salmon tataki dishes are an excellent choice for a shared appetizer. The other reviewers are correct that the decor isn't anything to look at and the restroom should be avoided; you don't come here to impress a date with anything other than your good taste in sushi!
