Kiku Hibachi & Sushi in Bedminster offers entertaining and tasty hibachi along with a variety of sushi choices. The Kiku menu features a good variety of choices including hibachi, sushi, tempura and teriyaki entrees. The restaurant features ten choices for traditional hibachi with an additional dozen hibachi combinations including steak shrimp, shrimp chicken, filet mignon and scallop as well as filet mignon and lobster. Additional menu options include an appealing Chilean Sea Bass, prepared with a light spicy soy sauce, and offered as both an appetizer and an entree. The Black Dragon Roll (shrimp tempura, crabmeat, cucumber, eel on top) and the Tropical Roll (shrimp tempura, cucumber, mango on top) are just two of the tasty Special Rolls on the menu. The show stopper for those who crave a spicy kick is the Tuna Mango appetizer, diced tuna and fresh diced mango, served together in a spicy sauce that really delivers. The Tuna Mango has the honor of being the one constant ordered on every visit! The staff is friendly and helpful although service can be quirky on busy nights. Kiku is BYOB and the prices seem reasonable for the portions and quality provided. Overall, Kiku is a good value and an entertaining family option for hibachi and sushi.

Tsuki Japanese Restaurant

Reviewed By ViajeroJBW

Last month, three colleagues and I went here for dinner at the recommendation of one colleague. This establishment is best suited for those who like sushi or fish. My one colleague and I do not care for either but we were able to find other options. Embarrassingly, I can’t remember what I ordered other than something with noodles that were very oily and rather tasteless. The meal came with chicken but there wasn’t much there. If you are not adept at chopsticks, be sure to ask your server for silverware. After we were seated and had gotten settled in, we disappointingly learned that this establishment does not serve alcohol. I must admit that I did not find my dinner enjoyable or memorable and, if I return to the area on business again at some point, I would not return here.
