Stayed in Pontyclun for business recently and found La Trattoria when venturing out for dinner in the local village.The atmosphere was quiet but nice (it was a Monday night). The food was freshly prepared and all courses were served promptly. All courses enjoyed by the party were delicious and presented well.The service was very professional throughout. If I had one criticism it would be that our waiter wasnât the friendliest but he was still very professional.I would definitely recommend eating here and will return if I am in the area again.

My brother and his wife came down from Reading for the weekend so we took them for Saturday lunch to La Luna along with our niece and her husband who came up from Penarth.. They were all staggered at the standard of the food. We all had the 3 course lunch menu and every course was superb.; They all said it was the best meal they'de had for a long time. Thanks must go to the amazing chefs in the kitchen and to Rhys and the lovely Tes for making my families day so special. We will all be back. Good service from Clair our waitress. Clean restaurant and delicious food . Always prompt service whether quiet or busy. Altering requirements according to taste or diet was no trouble at all. We had lovely eggs Benedict and a full cooked breakfast. Great value and taste.

Iâve been here a few times and it never fails to disappoint .Lovely small Italian restaurant in Pontypridd. I had the early bird special which is 2 courses for £11.95 which is excellent value. The food is well presented and tasted amazing! I had the chicken liver pate for a starter and lasagne for mains.Gorgeous meal once again.

Decided to try The Yard, the resturant has been in the town for ages and I've not yet been (shameful!!), however having gone once will definitely be back. Lovely new location, good atmosphere, excellent choice of pizza and about 5 pasta choices. Clear plates which is always a good sign! Thanks for the review Cath. Great that you found us!
