I had a great experience in Gruvelageret. The service was perfect, the atmosphere is very cozy and set from 4 courses was absolutely awesome. I canât imagine better experience than I had in Gruvelageret. I am sure everyone should visit this restaurant. Itâs definitely the best place in Svalbard. Thank you so much for your nice review! Came in with no reservation. We was given a seat in the middle of the pub which wouldn't be our first choice but was Ok Service very good and polite waiters.Ordered soup of the day and Margherita pizza - came to 250krone with a tip. Good value for money.Seats have no backs on so asked for chairs.Overall would come again

Had a great time even though it was late they took time to serve us and with a smile. The server was fun and connected with our family, all adults. One of us had food allergies which they were more than happy to accommodate him. It is centrally located and the ambiance was cool. Good suggestions for beer and food. Awesome place to visit and eat.
