We stayed at Min y Don on the 25th and 256th March 2022. The Guest House was immaculate but homely. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spotless and a good size. The owners attention to detail was brilliant. Fresh milk in the fridge and even a small bottle of Prosecco. Breakfasts were superb. However none of this compares with the friendliness and helpfulness of the owners they were brilliant. We have now completed 700 miles on the Welsh Coastal Path. We have stayed in countless Guest Houses. This is the best. Many thanks for a wonderful stay.

Rhiwiau Guest House

Rhiwiau is ideally situated 600 feet up in a secluded valley with mountains to the rear, panoramic views overlooking the Menai Straits and Isle of Anglesey and less than 5 minutes from the A55! We have been family owned and run since 1972. Rhiwiau always offers a warm welcome and a happy relaxed atmosphere as the many return guests confirm. We are ideally located for exploring North Wales. We are approx. 20 mins from Zipworld and 35 mins from Surf Snowdonia.

Most excellent accommodation and service

Reviewed By IanH716

We stayed here in late September for one night and it was very pleasant indeed. It is a very well maintained, solid, sturdy building with an instantly homely feel. Set up high, beneath the mountains and above the sea, there are great views all around. An excellent welcome was given on arrival and excellent service throughout our stay. Rooms very well provisioned and the breakfast was superb. We were also given the option to take an evening meal which we did - no regrets! Lovely food and plenty of it. Big advice was eagerly also given to us to help us to know what sights to see the following day. This is a very lovely accommodation option and one for which I have absolutely no hesitation in highly recommending.

The most amazing stay!

Reviewed By jessicagalloway

This has been the best bed and breakfast I have ever stayed in! Gerry and Mair make the most fantastic hosts, so warm and welcoming... even though we arrived after 9pm that did not matter to them! Gerry has amazing knowledge of the whole area surrounding Llanfairfechan and guided us to several different places to visit including places to eat and drink! It never seemed a problem to him in helping us out with were to go and what routes to take, he was extremely helpful! Every morning we had the most beautiful breakfast made for us by Mair and there was plenty to chose from and more than enough gorgeous food, we are definitely going to miss these breakfasts! The grove is a lovely, warm, cosy home situated perfectly and our room was lovely and very comfortable for us! We are hoping to come back and visit again in the future! Thank you Gerry and Mair for having us!

A lovely, well placed b&b

This lovely, clean and well appointed b&b is wonderfully situated for Anglesey or Snowdonia. The couple who run it were lovely and made us very welcome. The breakfasts were delicious. If you want a base for exploring North Wales you could certainly do worse! We will be back I am sure. ?
