Top 5 Government Buildings in National Capital Territory of Delhi, National Capital Territory of Delhi

January 28, 2022 Veronika Gaddis

With stray monkeys, dogs and cows strolling the streets, you'll know you're in Dehli. Beyond these distractions, rich culture, fascinating history and architecture beckon. Temples and old moghul buildings cram crowded streets, best negotiated by motorized tut-tut or hired car and driver. Shopping bargains abound, particularly at Chandni Chowk, and restaurants favor vegetarians. Attractions include the towering Qutab Minar minaret, UNESCO World Heritage Site Lal Qila (Red Fort) and the vast Friday Mosque.

Parliament House

Reviewed By Q7840EUdanl - Bunbury, Australia

This is an impressive building, equally as impressive as the Rashtrapati Bhavan the former housing the Parliament and the latter, the President of India. It was constructed between 1921/1927. As with many other buildings and attractions, we had to be satisfied with a drive past on 7/10/19, barricading and armed security everywhere. Apparently it is possible to obtain a general entry pass if the House is not in session. Grandiose.
