This lovely, well kept garden is a fitting memorial to remember all those who lost their lives on the Titanic. We found the name of our relative here, a crew member, alongside the rich and famous who also perished.

Sir Thomas and Lady Dixon Park

Visited today, has 2 good car parks , one is right next to the stables coffee shop. I never use the cafe so can't comment on it. You can also access a walk along the river Lagan from this car park. There is a BBQ area so you could bring charcoal and do some grilling on a good weather day. There is a great play park for the kids to run around has a sandpit which now has a seat with digger shovel on it nice new addition. There are a good amount of picnic tables including one with a shelter above it which is needed for the unpredictable NI weather. Toilets are a short walk from the playpark . The park lands are beautiful lots of different styles of park, pretty walled garden with lovely planting, a sunken garden with a pond, large mature trees that kids can play around underneath and climb, the rose garden has many varieties . You can easily just have a short walk around and see the bits of the park near the car park or walk for a lot longer. There are good maps beside the stables cafe so you can plan what you would like to see.
