The flavours are delicious and the ambience lovely (although you have to literally walk through Nostos to get there). Will have to come back and try it again as the food didn’t sit well with me. But great service and flavours were wonderful.

Every single bite of everything was just out of this world. If you get to Mex City, make a point to go there. Truly. Surprisingly reasonable, and utterly delicious. Service is impeccable. There were 3 of us, and they bring all the entrees as covered plates, and had 3 waiters open them all on the same exact cue, with a flourish.I only eat salmon on occasion as I find the taste a bit strong, quickly tire of it, but they give you a tasting spoon of minced salmon with herbs that I could have sat there and eaten a full bowl of it and been in nirvana. I have never tasted salmon that good, and I've had it prepared all sorts of ways. The Oysters Rockefeller, I don't know what they sauteed the spinach in but it's enough to make you hover above the table on wings. Best spinach in my life, where the oysters were secondary, though tender and lovely, and the spinach was king.Escargot, plump, juicy and tender, in garlicky butter with herbs and spices. The Beef Wellington was perfectly cooked, in a tender moist pastry, tender potatoes, but the gravy/sauce, oh my. Exquisite. I don't know what it was made with, but it was superb. I could have eaten a bowl of it with a spoon. It was our friend's birthday, so they brought her a piping hot lemon souffle that had to have been concocted by angels, we all had a taste, and of course, about 6 men sang for her.Violin and piano, beautiful music, romantic, and not overwhelming. Just beautiful.Incredible food, incredible service, beautiful atmosphere.Wherever you stay in Mx Cty, it's worth the cab fare, trust me. I've eaten a lot of good food down here, but we all agreed, it would be our go-to spot anytime we were in town. Unfailingly.

When you’re hungry at anytime (24 hours, 365 days a year) Au Pied de Cochon is available to serve you.An upscale experience and truly a 5 star meal. My colleague and I were quickly seated and we began looking over the menu. We inquired about a wine list and a sommelier brought an iPad by with over 2200 wine varieties! We opted by the glass and they still offered over 200 vinos to choose from. My colleague chose a local red and I went with the Vino Blanco Gustave Lorentz Gewürztraminer Reserve, a delicious white. As we looked over the menu, the waiter brought by a complimentary plate of Pâté and an assorted bread basket with butter. My colleague ordered the Bavette skirt steak and I chose the 200 gram Filet Mignon accompanied with a bordelaise sauce, baked potato and bone marrow. The filet was very succulent and cooked medium to perfection. We both agreed we didn’t have room for dessert but the waiter still brought a complimentary plate of goodies along with the check. A delicious French cuisine restaurant located inside the Presidente Intercontinental hotel in Mexico City.Thank you very much for visiting us and writing this review, we are glad you enjoyed your stay at Au Pied de Cochon.

I had high expectations, I must admit, after reading several reviews and articles about Eloise. When we arrived, we were seated immediately (we had a reservation) and the waiter seemed very friendly. The seating was very tight and we had to ask for napkins & cutlery a couple of times. There was a mistake with our drink order and service dropped after that. The food was good, burger, steak and great short rib (although everyone tried the mashed potatoes and we all agreed it had a sticky texture). Dessert was nice (ice cream & crema brûlée). Not sure I would return as CDMX has so many other and possibly better value for the price. But not a bad option if you’re in the area. Thank you very much for your comments. We take into account your comments regarding the service and our food. They help us to continue improving and listen to what our customers think of us.

Extremely rude! We waited for 45 minutes for a table and watched while parties who arrived after us were seated first. When I asked (in Spanish) how much longer the wait was, the hostess answered 20 minutes even though there were multiple open tables. She made it clear that they would not be accommodating us, and so we left. Definitely would not recommend.
