We have not been at Sihlhalde for many years and we were very positively surprised. The food was impeccable, so was the service. The location is a little bit tired and I think a soft renovation might improve the experience.The shuffle is world class!!!

A great place in the middle of hills near the lake of Zürich. A historic landmark with several very cosy rooms where you get excellent food, nicely presented and served by very friendly ladies. (watch the terrasse in Summer which offers a great view)

The restaurant is situated in a beautiful medieval building at the first floor. The room has been renovated at itâs best. The food is outstanding. We had duck liver on caramelized pickled cabbage. Best we ever had! Main was KAPAUN a special kind of special chicken from France, a specialty during the Xmas season. Again superb! The good service was topped by the tenant/director Sepp Wimmer who is attentively looking after his guests.
