Arrecife (/ˌærəˈsiːfeɪ/; Spanish pronunciation: [areˈsife]) is a city and municipality in the Canary Islands (Spain) situated in the centre-east of the island of Lanzarote, of which it has been the capital since 1852. The city owes its name to the rock reef ('Arrecife' is Spanish for 'reef') which covers the beach located in the city. The city also gives its name to the nearby Arrecife Airport.

Nice place where you can taste canary cheese, canary wines, also a big variety of homemade food products,and homemade beers. On the other hand you can find Iberic chorizo , salchichon and jamon serrano. One day per week , thursday, you could see our cheese master making chesse in live whereas you can drink one of our canary wines of our wine list.

Never enjoyed food as much as on this Yoga retreat on Lanzarote. We had no idea food could also be prepared in this way; with passion and creativity. The food was not only delicious, it looked stunning as well! It was great waking up in the morning and thinking: hm, what delicious meal will we be getting tonight! A treat, each and every day! Visit our craft brewery and our brewpub in the Puerto Naos fishing district. Enjoy our beers while you see how we brew them. Our place used to be a fishing nets workshop at the end of the 19th century. Now it is a place full of life of "seafaring refuge" style, where to enjoy our beers and tapas while you can see how we brew them, the brewpub and the factory are separated only by a glass. NAO, its the place to beer!

As a lover of real ale / craft beers it was great to finally have proper beer on the island. No need for Dorada etc etc. The beer and set up are of a good quality. Loved the quirky location, giving the place a great ambience. Staff were great and helpful. Had found the beers at other outlets across the island, but often had to ask. I look forward to finding them in more places at my nexr visit. Tried the complete range in bottles at different times over the day at different establishments. The Black Patrón, stood out to me, a very credible moorish beer, Capitan was also good and the wife liked "Gloria" a Weiss beer. See their website for beer details. Brewery bar opening times are very limited, lunch and evenings on thursday and friday only. Well worth finding a time for a visit, if not find their beers on the island.
