Stopped in for lunch with colleagues, generally an ex-pat sort of hang out. Ordered the mixed-seafood tagliatelle, excellent flavors, but oddly lacked any "whole" looking seafood, mostly chopped. Also got to taste two different pizzas, both really good but could have been a bit crispier. They tended to both be a bit heavy on the toppings making the center crust soggy. Friendly staff, nice inside and out.

Definitely one of best restaurants in Stone town. Food was very delicious and tasty, they offer all kind of cheeses, ham, prosciutto which is very hard to find on Zanzibar. Wine was very good with fair prices. Staff friendly and professional.In total we enjoyed it a lot.If you are staying in Stone town, this is definitely place you must visit.

You can hear the gentle lapping of the waves below, because you are right on the beach. The service is excellent. Itâs a four course fixed menu with various options: appetizer, soup, main and dessert. Portions are quite large and the food is good. In particular the desserts were truly delicious. Only a few tables are served nightly, so you really need to reserve ahead.

Bland tasteless food. Breakfast poor. Ran out of fruit well before close of breakfast service. Nice view from roof top terrace. Hotel accommodation is in the Spice Palace Hotel. Could not fault the standard & cleanliness of the accommodation. I would say, stay here but eat elsewhere!
