Our tour went to a slightly rough start because there was a mix up on the hotel (they were waiting in the hotel next door), but that got straightened out quickly. Our guide, Aurora, was very knowledgeable with the sights and the history of Athens, with no questions unanswered. Visiting the Acropolis and the museum was just amazing - it's also good that there weren't a lot of crowds this time of the year. Aurora was very good at cautioning us where to walk and not to walk, and we truly appreciate that she took care of us up to the time when we asked her for lunch recommendations. Thank you!

This was a wonderful experience! I was able to bring my students on a virtual tour around Greek Mythology. The tour revolved around The Lightning Thief which we are currently reading. Our tour guide, Vicky, even shared places throughout NYC, where we are from that the kids can see Greek Mythology. Great experience for kids... especially during remote learning!

Highly recommend doing this tour-we had a fantastic time, and it was a great way to see Athens! Not only was Max super knowledgeable about the food, he was also super informative about different aspects of Greek culture and day-to-day life. At no point did it feel like he was speaking at us, instead he engaged everyone in the group and made us all feel included and welcome, like we were all old friends. All of the food was delicious, and it was really cool to see parts of the city that we otherwise may not have. Truly can not recommend this enough, Max is easily the best guide I’ve encountered in my travels.
