Holy Redeemer is a beautiful Shrine. We attended the Saturday Vigil Mass and it was beautiful. The priest was very good and the music was beautiful, the gentleman played both the organ and piano as he lead us all in song. After Mass we walked around and lite a few candles, it is just a very, very beautiful church and very welcoming to all. The outside has a nice garden of statues to see too. If you want a nice religious experience while away from your regular parish, give the Holy Redeemer Shine a try, many Mass times available over the weekend.

We were looking for the closest Catholic Church to our breakfast location and Saint Sharbel's came up. The gate to the church provides what information anyone would need, including Mass times and language choices--English, Spanish and Aramaic (Jesus native tongue). Beautiful, holy place inside. The pastor is reverent and delivers a homily to be remembered. We took time afterwards to tour the original church, and were very glad we did--step back in time and still so appreciated by the parishioners. Don't miss this opportunity whether for Mass or to see the art and beauty of the people who make up the congregation of Saint Sharbel's.

As part of our trip we always check out churches as i love to see architecture and for more personal reason I give thanks to be able to visit the place and just plain grateful and for safety everyday. It is behind wynn hotel and considering this is a cathedral it is hidden by all the towering casino and hotel. the area is clean and the church itself is clean and very quiet. lots of stain glass windows and interesting murals. I would visit again if given a chance.
