I love Chinese food! My husband and I went with friends for the buffet. We arrived around 7 PM. Apparently, timing is everything because there was very little to choose from.Where's the beef, chicken and other meat? There was literally very little to choose from. We basically got vegetables and very little (if any) meat. They were out of hot and sour soup and lo mein. We literally had to scrape to the bottom of the pan to get fried rice. The sushi bar had some items out that looked like they had been sitting there for quite a while.Overall, it was not a good experience for our group.

We were in a time constraint the day we chose to enter the Panda Express; therefore we selected this buffet style restaurant thinking it would be fast and easy. Wrong! The serving line did not have 3 honey-glazed shrimp to completely fill one of our orders--so these were promised to be provided at our table. We waited and waited--only after reminding a server (twice) were the missing shrimp finally delivered. By then we were essentially already through eating. One of the shrimp still had the peeling on, buried under the honey-glazed sauce making for an unpleasant surprise while attempting to eat it.Furthermore, the spring rolls we ordered were cold on the inside once bitten into. The serving line attendant was notified of this. Two more spring rolls were provided to replace the inadequately cooked ones--these were just as cold on the inside as the first ones. Obviously there is some issue with the timing of cooking the spring rolls. Once more, we pointed this out to the server. While apologetic, he merely shrugged his shoulders indicating that he would try to have more cooked for us. We did see the serving attendant talking with the cook--so something was shared about the inadequate cooking. Finally the third set of spring rolls arrived about the same time as the missing honey glazed shrimp--late!; literally just before we were preparing to leave for another appointment for which we were scheduled. Probably will try the other restaurants in the area before returning to Panda Express--maybe there will be new employees or at least a new cook.

Ww were near the restaurant and decided to try this place for the first time. It has been in business for 30 years so obviously they are doing something right. My wife ordered cashew chicken and I decided to try the chicken chow mein. Most places don't fix it like back in the Yees or Chinese Cottage in Dallas that served Cantonese style chinese food. Much to my surprise it was great and very similar to what we used to be able to find.We hot the hot tea, egg roll, won ton soap, cashew chicken and chicken chow mein. Loved the place and the waitstaff did a great job.We will definitely visit this establishment again. Highly recommend. We want to try some of their drinks as they looked great.

Servings are gigantic ! My wife and I are big eaters but one serving here of any entree can feed two people easily. And talk about service. If you have any food left they will box it up and sack it right at your table and give you more rice to add if you want it. They also will offer you more tea/code/whatever to go with you in a take out cup. This place is one of our favorites.

Pei Wei Asian Diner

Pei Wei has been one of my go-to Asian places for decently priced, tasty items. Changes in the menu over the years made me go there less frequently, but they still have some tasty, well-priced dishes. With that said, this location seems to be struggling, and the reason seems to be staffing or supervision. Five of us dropped in for lunch the other day. We all agreed the service was horrible, and we all agreed part of the problem was the emphasis on taking care of the carry out clients. I won't go into all the gory details, but here is an overview. Ordering was slow and painful as the cashier would turn to the takeout customer immediately, and leave dine-in customers standing in line. If that wasn't bad enough the first in our party to order were the last to be served, and one only received his order after he went to the kitchen area and asked for it. To top it off, a short time later they brought him a second order. Apparently, they did not show his ticket completed after he served himself so to speak. If you like this level of Asian cuisine, I'd still keep this location on your list. However, if you want to dine in, you should consider ordering take-out, picking it up, and walking into the dining area to eat it.
