Great location in the old town square, sunny yellow umbrellas make things cheery, blankets available if it cools down, great staff (with patience for my limited ability to speak German) and a very laid-back, calm attitude.In our two days in Schriesheim, we went both days for afternoon coffee and one evening for dinner. Dinner time gets busy with locals so come early or book.

Endlich was neues in Schriesheim, und gut besucht dazu. Viele Biere zur Auswahl, gute Beratung inklusive. Flammkuchen und div. Kleinigkeiten. Selbstbedienung ist Ok, nur bei der Bezahlung ... klemmt es ein wenig , wenn der Tresen voller Leute ist. Gutes Konzept, wenig Aufwand, und viel Erfolg, alles richtig gemacht und mutig obendrein. Weiter so. Wir kommen gerbe wieder auf ein Bierchen vorbei.

During our short break in Ladenburg we came here several times for breakfast, tapas, diner or just a drink. We don't understand how there are so many bad reviews: we had consistently good experiences. The staff were always friendly (with good English), the service efficient and the food very good. We also liked the warm atmosphere and great decoration. Whenever we come back to Ladenburg we won't hesitate to eat and drink here again.

We came on a warm April night, and the patio was packed with people. They won't reserve tables outside, and I can see why - it's most of their business on a nice-weather night. But the food is very much worth coming here. A reservation for inside is easy to get same-day. My favorite thing here is the salad with roasted goat cheese and fig mustard - I swear I have dreams about this salad. Everything else served here that I've tried is also delicious, but I always get that salad. Service is good and attentive, English is spoken well by the staff. ....Easy to get to - Walkable distance over the bridge from the pedestrian mall, or a 6-7 EUR taxi ride.
