We really enjoyed eating at this restaurant. The food was terrific . It was real southern home cooking with a lighter touch. You can eat breakfast all day or try a large variety of dishes including homemade salads, soups and sandwiches. The service was attentive and professional despite the large number of clients. The clientele seemed to be overwhelmingly local. The decor was homey and relaxed in the way that only restaurants that have been around a long time can look. I hope that they never redecorate. For first time visitors, the location can be hard to find. Be sure to turn onto Elm Street and not to enter the shopping center too soon. The shopping center is on both sides of Elm Street. Look for odd numbered storefronts.Be careful when returning to I-95. There is a detour that our GPS failed to account for. Trust the signs to I-95.

My family had lunch here and we all agreed that the sides and waffles were outstanding. The waffles were fluffy and so tasty. The greens were some of the best I’ve ever had but none of us liked the chicken. It seemed to be garlicky and a bit tough. And they need bigger plates. Maybe the point of small plates was to make the portions seem bigger? The portions were fine but the food was falling off the tiny plates. All in all a good meal but we probably won’t go back. We have so many chicken restaurants in the area and most have better chicken.

The food is average and prep time for food is a little on the slow side, but if you work on main post area around Corps HQ or Forscom HQ this is a nice little quiet getaway to get some food for breakfast or lunch. Reasonably priced and very easy to get to without the lunch rush trafic of Ft Bragg to deal with and plenty of parking. Its a decent alternative.

Best coffee place in town!! The drinks are always delicious and the customer service couldn't be better. They are always so friendly and accommodating. They are very ingredient conscious which I appreciate. That's probably why their drinks taste so good. They offer almond milk and even have protein to add to drinks if you want. Overall, this place really couldn't be better, you won't regret going!
