Been coming to Luz for many years and never eaten at Barroca, having read the fantastic reviews on Trip Advisor decided to come here for dinner last night. Was not disappointed, we sat outside enjoying the warm evening. Food was delicious, great portions and everything so tasty. Great selection on the menu, highly recommend the sea bass with roasted vegetables, kids had burgers which they loved. Great value for money as most restaurants in Luz are expensive. Will definitely return on our next trip

We tried a few cafés in Burgau before returning here for many lunches and snacks.The food, service and prices are very good; very dependable overall. Great views and a nice welcome every time.Cross over the street to their ice cream shop afterwards for your dessert!

Easy to find on the island to Almadena, on the 125. A pub come restaurant with pleasant dining area, and outside space .English couple running the place for several years , very friendly . Good range of food including Pizza, to eat in or take a way. We had the fillet steak and it was cooked just as we requested and traditional UK cut. Well worth a visit.

My wife and I visited without reserving as we were staying in the apartments adjoining. We received a warm welcome and were offered a table immediately. We both had oysters (mine baked and my wife's fresh) followed by mussels and a rib eye steak. Everything was cooked perfectly, and the steamed vegetables were the best I've ever had. Would recommend a visit but worth reserving if in peak season.

What a great English pub, full of footy TVs, large inside & plenty of room outside, with a free swimming pool. Staff look after you as if they were family. We had Sunday dinner for three adults three children, it was large well cooked just like your mums dinner. Well done we will be back.
