this was a late july trek to the high plains for a red rock adventure. the weather was outstanding. this little gem is an easy walk from the the main strip in golden. parking is easy here. the folks here are super nice and informative. we even had a quick, 1/2 hour brew tour. the beers are great. i tried 4 of them. the wall of hops is amazing and quite a great landscaping feature. the simple courtyard promoted a little shade and a perfect place to eat. if you're hungry, a food truck is parked out front and it was delicious. i spent a tad bit of time inside, but this time of year, why bother.

We were at the new Barrels and Bottles Brewpub, not their downtown older facility, which is newly opened and starting up after COVID restrictions are easing. Very festive atmosphere. Great beer selection for me and wine for my wife. Loved the live music. Staff was extremely friendly and efficient. We will certainly return and look forward to seeing and experiencing the expanded food menu.

This was our first stop during a trip to Denver- and it was the perfect place to start our trip. The view was incredible and we loved the beer. There was a ton of seating outside- I can imagine it’s packed during the summer months. Definitely kid and dog friendly.

My husband is a Colorado native but he has never brought me here! We had a great time, beginning with the free parking, free shuttle, little tour of Golden, then to the brewery where you take a self guided tour with a hand held recorder at your own pace. The brewery is clean, big, open and FUN. The staff is very friendly and the bonus is the free samples in their bar area! Admission is $5 for locals and $10 for out of state residents. Well worth it! Oh, and you get a free Coors glass at the end! Well done!
