Late lunch today for 2. Soup, and two "pick 3" lunches, with water was $$$! $28. So, I'd consider this an expensive place for any meal, (dinner is higher). The food was pretty good overall. Grits, greens, sweet potatoes and mac. The greens had black eyes peas in them which I've never seen before. The mac and cheese and grits were very good and sweet potatoes ok. I'd call this a once in awhile visit due to the cost. The decor is neat,

Went to Finâs just before 9pm last night with 5 family member. It was my first time, three of the family members are local to the General area. The menu is excellent! And very diverse. We have special dinners, salad, steaks, this tacos, and a French dip. All the food was very well prepared. The wait staff was excellent and very attentive. They offered a very good selection of beers and wines.Awesome restaurant and staff. I hope to return and work my way around the menu.

The food is what first drew residents to this eating establishment at first, the ambience kept them coming back. Not to mention, the owners are active in the community, even sponsoring bands in the park. The fact that they have expanded to the building next store indicates their success.

This reminds me more of a college town instead of a waterside community pub. This is a decent bar burger and are friendly. They do have appetizers as well as cocktails. I would like to see a little bit of modernization. it's popular with the locals, just not somewhere I would bring an out-of-town visitor. Just my personal opinion.

This place has problems!! We came here with a group for a karaoke birthday party night. None of us were eating. It was all about drinking and singing and some birthday cake. I noticed that the initial drink order took an extremely long time, but it seemed like the rest of the evening the drinks were coming pretty fast. The waitress was right on top of things and was very friendly. That was about the only positive for the evening!! Considering the place was pretty much almost empty, Iâm glad service was good because she really had nothing else to do!!The layout of this bar/restaurant is really confusing and they are in the process of changing the name but the menus and the building still said the old name. I think it was the new owner who came to our table to tell us the name of the new Italian restaurant. You can see it in one of my photos. The outside of the building is painted on one half for Michigan State University and for the other half itâs painted for the University of Michigan. Inside it looks like a hunters paradise with animal heads on all the walls!The table we sat at was a high top and it was very sticky! The door was literally right next to our table so people walking in or out had to squeeze through our seats. The ladies room had 2 stalls - one was the handicap stall with a door that didnât close right. The other didnât have a door at all!! Paper towel container was empty and the room needed a good cleaning!!The bar is loud, but I guess thatâs what you would expect at a karaoke bar. Saturday night is karaoke night and I think it started at 8 pm. The audience was pretty much the 5 singers and their friends. There is another room that looked like it was the restaurant area. The building structure is an unusual shape and looks like it was pieced together at various different times. We got a small birthday cake and it was supposed to come when we were singing happy birthday, but it arrived late and was frozen! I must admit, once it thawed out it was tasty. I wouldnât go out of my way for this place unless someone had another get together!!
