A very nice meal here. Great value and very tasty food. A little bit lost in translation when one of our party received a dish much, much hotter than he'd requested, but very quickly addressed by the attentive staff who brought yogurt to cool it down. Sorry about the heat one of your friend experienced as I was the one who recommend him the house special which is similar to his favourite, didn't realised he wanted something is Not as hot as his favourite. It had been almost a year since we last visited Monsoon. However, I am delighted to report that standards are still very high. From the welcome to our departure, it was an entirely positive experience. Service - excellent. Food - excellent. Value - excellent. Monsoon sets the standard, and delivers time after time. Well done guys!

Super little avian takeaway, good prices, such a lovely lady who served us. Has the Pork Belly Bao and Chicken Satay Bao, with spicy side salad. Fresh coriander sprinkled on top. She is plastic free, so all paper and wooden utensils - will fill water bottles for free. Really cracking little place right by the beach.

Working in Sidmouth for a week and it was time for my weekly curry fix, read good reviews about the Sidmouth Tandoori also was recommended by some locals.Very small restaurant as well as takeaway and basic no frills, i love good reviews from a basic restaurant, i was told that you have to book to get a table (another good sign ) i opted for a take out and after ordering from a great menu some of the dishes i hadnât heard of before along with the classic greats. I chatted to the lady owner who takes the orders, she told me that her and her husband had been in the same spot for 17yrs and still have the same menu which her husband devised and does all of the cooking. What a charming lovely lady, we chatted about different foods and countries until my order was ready. The food was over outstanding full of tastes and perfectly cooked , bare in mind i live in london and iâm spoilt for choice for a curry , i have many reviews if you care to look. The Sidmouth Tandoori takes my top slot by quite a margin and if i lived less than the four hours away that i do iâd be a regular, you never know maybe one day when a few of us fancy a curry we might just be back.(thanks for the fork loan, will bring it back tomorrow )

What a find. A truly fabulous Thai Restaurant. Tonight we were celebrating my husbandâs birthday and couldnât have chosen anywhere better. As we are holidaying in the area, this was a âpot luckâ choice (though we did check other Tripadvisor recommendations.A really friendly family run the hotel and restaurant, you are seated in the lounge to have a drink whilst your meal is cooked for you- you even get to decide how spicy you want it because every dish is cooked from scratch.The food was all delicious and beautifully presented, service was great-cheerful and attentive.Weâd highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you for a delightful evening.
