Johnny's Restaurant in Aylmer is a small friendly restaurant with good food worth a stop. There is usually a wait for a table but the wait isnt usually long. They have a large diverse menu from breakfast to supper. We recently stopped for lunch and had their homemade burgers which were very tasty. Good food. Good service and reasonably priced food.

Ruby's Cookhouse in Aylmer has a very large varied menu with reasonable prices, besides the large menu they usually have a couple daily specials. Ruby's has lots of seating as well as patio seating. I ordered the herb roasted chicken served with their own dipping sauce which was very good. My server was friendly and prompt with drink refills. For dessert Ruby's has a large selection of cheesecakes . Good food and service.

99 Talbot Bistro and Pub has been recently renovated and is a nice small cozy restaurant which recently opened. The restaurant was busy and we had to wait for a table but the wait was short. Our server was friendly and quickly took our orders. We ordered the garlic cheese bites to start which was just garlic bread with cheese unfortunately it could have used a few minutes longer to cook as the bread was cool in middle and cheese barely melted. We ordered the 99 Talbot burger which came with fresh cut fries. The burger was thick and juicy but a bit bland. The restaurant is cozy but the food was just ok. We will return again.

This family friendly eatery is located in Port Bruce, across the road from a lovely beach on Lake Erie. It is a little off the beaten track but worth the hunt...we were referred by locals, so we figured it must be good. The food was excellent...our group had chicken caesar wrap, chicken fingers, burgers and fries. All were fresh, well prepared and hot. Also a great selection of ice cream and shakes. There is a patio to enjoy your food and watch the activity on the beach.

Last week I went to this Subway and ordered an Italian BMT on a foot-long cheese bun. What i got was not what I expected. No Italian meats. No Salami, No Pepperoni, but I got ham, and two other white coloured processed meats or something like meat. Not Swiss cheese as ordered but white cheese of some kind. Do not know what happened unless the young server just did not listen. He was talking all the while with the other server on duty. Not good business to not pay attention to your clients. Got home and tasted the sandwich. Threw half of it away. Did not taste very good. The processed white meats were terrible quality.
