The hostess (also one of the owners) created a custom plate for my wife and I one afternoon. There were various sausages, cheeses, sweets, and fruits. She also chose a couple of wines for us. My wife and I usually like fairly different wines; she prefers sweeter whites and dryer tannic reds. I prefer crisp whites and sweet smooth reds. She prefers red over white, I am the opposite. All this to say that we both highly appreciated both the white and the red the owner selected for us, which surprised us greatly. The meal was delicious, especially paired with the wines. It remains one of our most treasured memories of italy.

Located in the old charming town of Grottammare Alta.Beautiful place with a nice selection of wines and a great buffet to enjoy as an aperitivo.Friendly service and quality vs cost is just right!Highly recommended!

Superb location in Piazza Peretti. We arrived while it was still light and left after dark on a warm evening. The setting has great ambience. Friendly staff and good service. This is a wine bar so limited food choices but the platters and salads we chose were all excellent. We all felt it was good value for money. Around â¬20 per head including wine and beers and on average a platter/ salad each.

Sunday evening and out for a passeggiata in the old part of Grottammare. As it got dark we went down into a cellar and out the other side, on to a small terrace to enjoy drinks and a snack which were very reasonably priced. We arrived just before the supper crowd, so were given a table as we promised we'd stay but half an hour. Lots of Italians arrived ready for supper and we departed so do book if you want to eat by candle light on this small terrace over looking the sea.
