By intimate I mean it's not very big inside. There are some chairs and tables outside but beware of the strong breeze that blows off the sea and straight down this street.A reasonable choice of wines and decent classy snacks such as charcuterie. Nice atmosphere but a little overpriced.

This bar could be a nice place for a drink but it depends on the new owners. The last owners were terrible and nearly killed the reputation built up by the previous ones. It's a little way from the pedestrian area and sea front but not far. Best of luck to the new owners.

Wow! What a find this restaurant is; probably the best restaurant in the area and deserving of a Michelin star! The menu is creative and extensive. The food is innovative with a strong emphasis on local produce and using the best local suppliers. The chef/patron is passionate and is keen to explain the dishes and check that your meal is enjoyable. The service is impeccable and the house wine is a decent vin de pays charentais. Avoid the tourist menus on the beach and eat quality fayre here.

The owner, a young guy is so dedicated to serve high quality food. We had an amazing cheese/charcuterie platter. All local from the market in Royan, which is facing the restaurant.The interiour is stilish and modern.My son had a delicious tiramissu. "The place" in Royan!Thank you for your visit !
