Frogmore Creek has the worst restaurant customer service I have ever experienced, and that is saying something considering we did not even get the restaurant! The restaurant had been personally recommended by a close friend, so we booked our table early and the family were looking forward to the experience. Without any warning, about two weeks before the booking, we get an email generated from the booking engine advising the restaurant had cancelled our booking.Frogmore Creek did not have the common courtesy to even put a quick note on the cancellation. No explanation, no apology.End result, very disappointed family who now will tell everyone whom we hear is going to Tassie to avoid Frogmore Creek.Your team's customer service needs a huge kick in the butt. Not good enough.

My husbandâs parents were in town and, wanting to try somewhere different for dinner, we decided on Luma. We were all so impressed with all the dishes (which included duck fat potatoes, pulled pork sliders, and pizzas) and the service was excellent. We will definitely be returning.

This place surprises. It's a lot bigger inside than you'd think and the standard is exceptional (no surprise there really if you've been to Frogmore Creek at Cambridge)! Staff were very well informed and service was courteous and efficient.So many dishes to choose from - they all intrigued me!Well, I had to start somewhere so it was the Pirates Bay Octopus Carpaccio with five spice gel, avocado puree, bottarga, basil and potato croutons. This was accompanied by Spanner Crab and nori with soy braised daikon, sesame wakame, kewpie, kalini and salt cured egg. Delicious! We chose a side dish of Broccolini with burnt butter and smoked almond crumble. Nice texture and beautifully presented.Then it was time for the Three Rivers eye fillet crudo with egg yolk gel, Argentinian chimmi churri, cauliflower crisps, crispy capers and garlic snow. Yum.We then shared the honey brown mushroom tortellini with nasturtium salsa verde. wild mushroom broth, crispy enoki and kale. The flavours were sensational!We finished by sharing a decadent dessert. The Frogmore Cigar. I think the photo speaks for itself.The wine was reasonably expensive but the meals are all great value for what you get. Superb flavours, ideas, presentation and service. We'll be there again soon!Great views and ambience and I'd recommend for a romantic date evening!

I recently visited this establishment while on holiday and found the practice of substituting Makers Mark Bourbon with a poor quality tasteless product was rife. This practice is becoming more common as bars struggle to make a profit. Most patrons are oblivious to what they are drinking and wouldn't notice. This is a great spot but struggle to see how it will ever make money although I may have uncovered something.Hi Andre, Thank you for the review. We are very sorry you are so misinformed.
