Had dinner here with my best friend on my last night in Germany at the end of a three week holiday. The food was delicious, the best Turkish food I've tasted in a long while and the staff were very attentive. We shared a mixed starter plate which was really well presented and extremely moreish. As main dishes we both opted for Lamb combo dishes which were served with baked potato and a special tomato sauce. The meat was tender and just melted in my mouth. It was just a great ending to an absolutely amazing time in Germany.An absolute must when visiting Ahlen.Would you guys be interested in opening a restaurant in Galway?

For years on end now, whenever I come near Ahlen, I gladly make the detour to have a delicious Turkish meal in this most pleasant restaurant. The food is absolutely top class, service is warm and friendly and, in winter, the woodburning oven keeps the place at a very comfy temperature. I highly recommend this restaurant, you will not be disappointed!

Es gibt in Ahlen einige gute türkische Restaurants und nun sind wir zum ersten Mal im Közüm gewesen. Es schliesst sich nahtlos an die Qualitäten an. Der Holzkohlengrill und die Gerichte davon sind allerdings schon ein Alleinstellungsmerkmal. Sehr gut gewürzt und auf den Punkt haben wir unsere Hauptgerichte bekommen. Der Lammspieà (Kuka Sis) war zart mit der Note des Gegrillten. Das Lammkebap (Adana Kebap) hatte eine sehr leckere Gewürznote, leicht scharf. Die Dip-Vorspeise, als Gruà aus der Küche, haben schon fast den Magen gefüllt und der Salat mit leckerem Granatapfel-Dressing war auch gut. Der Raki wurde typisch mit Eisummantelung serviert, war mir allerdings zu hart im Geschmack. Da gibt es bessere aus meiner Sicht.Alles in allem bin ich mit einer ausgezeichneten Bewertung eigentlich sehr sparsam. Die zusätzliche freundliche und sehr liebevolle Bewirtung geben dem ganzen aber meine berechtigte Wertung. Ich komme gern wieder!

We went here because we had no idea of restaurants in Hamm, and because Turkish is not what we usually eat, so it felt interesting. This turned out to be an excellent choice.We had kebab (two different styles) and our kids chose one of the kids menus (the chicken nuggets). In hindsight, we should just have ordered them something from the menu.As something to start we got typical bread (I didn't catch the name) with three sauces to go with it. The main dishes were served quickly after and all of the food was great.What makes this place stand out for me though was the service and the price. Service-wise this felt like a great place, with lots of very friendly people towards us and towards our children. And the value / price was astonishingly good (paying 45 euros for 4 people is... well, very inexpensive for such good food).Definitely a place to visit!
