This restaurant is part of the DB hotel however they really tried to make it feel like it was an independent venue in it's own right. The service was exceptional and the food was tasty and hot with plenty of choice. Originally from South Africa, it was great to see an Ocean Basket. We were promptly seated outside in the lovely sun with an umbrella and decided on our drinks. Once we had sorted out our drinks order we ordered our food which was a seafood platter for 2, a fish and chips, fried calamari and a kiddies meal of fish nuggets and chips. While waiting for our meals we were given complimentary bread with 3 sauces which was very tasty. We didnât have too long to wait for our food which we all thoroughly enjoyed. Prices were reasonable and if you enjoy seafood I would highly recommend this place. There is also seating inside. Toilets were very clean. There is parking on the street.

We have visited this restaurant twice this week, which we found quite by accident.. The staff were friendly, there was a good choice on the menu, sweet and sour pork, lemon chicken, udon noodles with seafood were very tasty, as were the banana fritters served with honey.Good value too, definitely worth a visit

We really enjoyed our meal here so much that we went back the next evening and had another!! They offer a tourist meal at £10.95 which was excellent value and the food was superb. The service is excellent. Very clean, welcoming, and beautifully decorated. If you like Chinese or Thai food this is the restaurant for you.
