I highly recommend this restaurant. They have various kinds of meat, including wagyu and dry aged meat. After ordering, you grill the meat yourself, so that's fun too. Everything was very delicious. Be sure to visit this restaurant too!

On the 37th floor of the West-in Hotel is this Japanese restaurant. At lunch the set menu features an extensive self-service buffet as well as two (small) dishes you order from a choice of about ten. You also can "order" sushi from the chef who then prepares it on the spot. Wide range of desserts and a coffee included in the price.Smart, casual, but at lunchtime no sense of 5 star formality.Excellent food and a bargain at lunchtime.

English menu and English speaking wait staff and beef grilling chef. Good food, easily ordered. And zero calorie soft drink-unusually hard to find. No great wait for seating.You choose your steak type from menu then go to chef and ask for the weight you want. He cuts steak from a large joint, and offers his cut weight to you on a plate. You ask for your chosen amou t of cooking. You sit down and steak appears, duly cooked.

This is a great little steak restaurant in the heart of sendai. The prices are exactly what you'd expect for the type of restaurant. Their website has an English menu, so you can plan before you get there. English-speaking service was outstanding. Only complaint is that maybe they gave us a little too much special attention, but that's nothing. If you have a food picky eater who is more comfortable with steak and potatoes, this place will be a safe choice. My picky friend only had issues with one or two dishes in the course meal. I ate everything and it was great! A high recommend from me.
