In Pakistan, its mostly curry houses everywhere and then you have the awful American fast food outlets.It was a pleasure to come across this steakhouse- My cousins who took me there, eat regularly here.

Went to their Gulberg Galleria branch recently. Plain ordinary. Most of the steaks were not available. Did not find anything worth the money to visit them again. food industry has evolved alot in Pakistan and u cant just sell attitude at an eatery anymore.

SCAFA Lahore is a cooking school which also houses a fine dining restaurant (which offers chefs table, 7 course tasting, and corporate lunches) as well as a cafe concept.

SCAFA is a culinary school run on international standards with chefs from all around the world giving cooking lessons. In the evening it turns into an exclusive restaurant with a maximum capacity of 12 - a fixed 7 course menu is served, Each course is prepared in front of the guests, and then the chef goes on to explain whats its all about.. Food presentation 9/10. First went to SCAFA a year ago and we had a chef from Chile - everything was perfect . 2nd visit was a month ago...sad to say, the Chef from Scotland was mediocre, the service and style had gone down and the food presentation and quality also down. The price is fixed at Rs.2900/- inclusive of all taxes and gratuities and non-alcoholic drink which is served at arrival. The have 2 sittings first one at 8 pm and the second at 10 pm.. personally i felt that the 7 course were too rushed, as soon as the first course finishes, immediately the next one is in front of you...too rushed and i wish they would serve coffee and cheese in the end for those who want it...
