After reading the good reviews, we decided to check this place out. The friendly and helpful owner/waiter, who even spoke some English suggested the paella fruits de la mer with the authentic Valencian rice. It was delicious and it was plenty for two people. Afterwards he also suggested places to visit on our way back to Perpignan. We took his advice and got to see the beautiful landscapes and towns. It was a very good experience and I would advise everyone who visits Narbonne to grab a bite at this place!

totally changed, rose was oxidised - i.e. peach coloured not rose and tasted odd, they did not know what we were talking about but changed it for a white immediately, snack food was very basic and not very pleasant but homemade fries were excellent, nowhere to sit in courtyard to hear music, old inside of bar closed, only seating was outside on rickety chairs and fold up tables in street with music separated by a very high wall, food served on street from trestle tables but lots of people there so obviously some people like it!

Brilliant atmosphere in Le Halles,buzzy,great smells and Les Tapes stands out way above the other eateries .Super fresh seafood,tasty and full of flavour . Good choice of wines,excellent charming staff . No bill issues ! We were last to leave and the owner came out and served complimentary sparkling wine .Will always return when in Narbonne !
