2 thumbs up. The tacos are fat. The seasoning is A1. The salsa is some of the finest youve ever had. They treat you like a paying customer. They move quick. If your looking for a reasonably priced meal that will tickle your fancy... look no further.

We moved up from the southwest border and have missed authentic Mexican places. This is a great place to go to get deserts, etc. The chemoyada's and the hot cheetos with cheese were good. We went back today and got a Pina Sultana - which was a whole pineapple, hollowed out, with fruit juice, fruit pieces (pineapple, watermelon, mango, jicama, apples, melon, etc), chamoy, a tamarindo stick, and others (gummy worms, etc). It was incredible! Both times there we were helped by a young lady named Leslie. She is great!! She took the time to answer all questions. She even remembered us and greeted us our second time there. We will be back for sure. You should try it as well!

El Paso

Reviewed By SuperPoser

I ate dinner at Taqueria El Paso Mexican Restaurant based on the recommendation of a local while I am in town for work. The menu contained items found at most Mexican restaurants, but the taco section caught my eye. There were several odd meats listed that I have not seen elsewhere. I ended up ordering four tacos: Chicken, Steak, Beef Head, and Beef Tongue, along with rice and beans. (I have never had Beef Head or Beef Tongue prior, so I thought I would try it.)I was given two full plates of food, one for the tacos and one for the rice and beans. The tacos were double stacked soft shells and also had a lot of cilantro and white onions. (If you are sensitive to onions, it may be a good idea to order with no onions.) The Chicken and Steak tacos both tasted good, as expected. The Beef Head taco, which may have been beef nose cubes, was a different taste, but not bad. I ate about half of that taco, then I added salsa which made it taste like a normal beef taco. The Beef Tongue taco was very fatty. The fat had a strong taste that I did not care for so I removed as much fat as I could from the meat, then added a lot of salsa. I did eat the whole taco (minus the fat), but I would not order this one again. I would return and probably will try something else next time.

Taqueria Mi Pueblo

Reviewed By MotorCityChuckLHead

Like others, I was looking forward to our dinner at Taqueria Mi Pueblo. It was recommended by a coworker and received such great acclaim. Our experience is summed up as disappointing. The food (tostadas and quesadillas) came out fast. Maybe too fast? There was no flavor in anything. Nothing. The tostadas looked good but were described as bland. My quesadillas were totally void of flavor and spice. Rice and beans were just as boring. As we labored through this meal, we realized we had been here years before and had a similar, unimpressive experience. We won't be coming back. There are many worthy places to get your Mexican food fix. This is not one of them.
