Little to add to the last dozen or so reviewers who loved this charming restaurant; totally agree. Almost gave up hope of finding it, but gritted teeth and kept going; the enticement at the last stage was catching a view of the classic hill village of Barbischio where this jewel is found. I was received by the owner with warmth, despite having no booking. Both the tortellini and the cheesecake were evidence of loving care in the kitchen; freshly prepared, mouthwatering. Hope no one reads the reviews, or there will be no table available if I return without a booking.

After a long day of touring we decided to head into San Giovanni and have dinner at Osteria Dell'Agnolo. It was a quaint restaurant with a wonderful man who served us. As a family of 6 - we made it a habit to order a number of different dishes to sample and share a full range. Here we ordered a risotto, a classic Tuscan stew and several pasta dishes. All were very good - but I would say the stew was the least favored! There was something about our dinner that made us feel like we were just locals. It was very relaxed and pleasant.

We came here around a late lunch time. Didn't need any reservation and had no issue getting seated. Food was wonderful and such a beautiful view, super relaxing. Town is great to take photos in because it's basically empty, I don't think many people actually live there anymore so we just wandered streets and take some wonderful photos. Definitely so glad we stopped here.Gentilissimo sig Detroit , graxie per essersi fermato a pranzo nel mio ristorante. Ancora più felice che abbia mangiato bene e che la location gli sia piaciuta . Il mio giardino e veramente bello e Volpaia ancora di più . A presto

This was a bar we went to daily while in Figline we almost missed it the food was fresh and authentic with friendly staff also the prices were very reasonable coffee and pastry 2euros. I would have liked to eat all my meals there.
