We got fish and chicken and they were fresh, crunchy and tasted very good. The sides were also good. Green beans are the best I’ve had. And the Mac&Cheese is great as well. Clean. Prices ok. Friendly staff. Very family friendly. Lot parking and drive through available. Marcy’sDinerTantrumScale 5/5-no screaming kids.

We enjoyed the polenta fries, followed by the chicken wraps and my partner had a steak. Dinner arrived quickly, everything was really good and the drinks were great. Everytime I visit I am impressed with the quality of service we receive. Very professional, knowledgeable staff. My only complaint is that it's a little spendy so we save it for special occassions only.

We were pleased to find a Des Moines restaurant with such a large array of seafood options, including fresh oysters (which were delicious)! The interior of the restaurant is pleasant - with many beautiful aquariums. It is a huge space with several levels (good for large parties) but some parts were drafty on a cold winter's day. We were initially seated in the middle but asked to be move to the back room since there was quite a breeze in the middle section. Our server had many years of experience and we valued his recommendations to try the Calamari and Shrimp appetizer and the Seabass main dish. Overall, we found the food to be quite good - but not outstanding. The preparation of the fish was very conventional and the flavor of the Calamari and Shrimp was good but somewhat subdued (we love bold flavors and spice). We don't live in Des Moines and if we returned we'd look forward to trying another restaurant in the city. At the same time, if you're looking for good quality seafood with pretty traditional preparations, this place will not disappoint.
