We have been in El Cresper for our Christmas dinner and would recommend this little secret restaurant without exception.We had a first class veal entrecote, horse skewer and the salmon a la stroganof. All were perfectly delicious.Also the deserts were very tasty.And the owner with his wife (presumably) served us very friendly and he had good recommendation for the right red wine.Muchas gracias por su opinión en Tripadvisor, fue un placer tenerles con nosotros en una noche tan especial como esta y que su estancia en El Cresper fuera de su agrado. Nuestra intención siempre es que nuestros clientes se encuentren como en casa, que se sientan cómodos, que degusten esta exquisita cocina Rusa en un ambiente lo más agradable posible. Si lo conseguimos nuestra felicidad es total, de nuevo muchas gracias por su visita y Frohe Weihnachten, Feliz Navidad.

Upon entering the downstairs portion of this restaurant at dinner time, you could be confused as to whether they are serving meals, or not. Upstairs is where the action takes place and the 2 times we have been there there has not been more than 4 tables occupied at one time. People seem to come and go for dinner throughout the night. As early as an 830 start to as late as an 11 commencement. It has an old, dark decor, but as another reviewer said, it works. There is nothing similar in the US, for example. You almost feel like you are guests in this "home" but are not bothered to explain yourself to the waiter or in any way hurried through your meal. You have the impression that they have been in this business for quite a long time. One meal we enjoyed here was their "Andorra a taula" menu which is only offered in the month of November. It focused on mushrooms, shellfish and foie. Every single dish wash superb. More recently we enjoyed a dinner starting with a generous portion of snails that were excellent. Very salty and the texture was not rubbery, but just right. A single scallop was my second course and was unlike any other scallop I have eaten. It was gigantic and cooked perfectly and although initially I was a bit surprised to see a plate with a single scallop, I cut it in to at least 5 pieces and the sauce was delicious. I was very satisfied. My husband enjoyed the duck confit which was cooked perfectly and more traditionally. Our wine choice was one of the red reservas on the lower end of the price range and it was excellent.I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant. It is an intimate experience and something about it feels very discreet. Like you are in on a secret; one that has been around for a long time. I have no idea if the lunch atmosphere is the same, but 2 out of 2 visits at dinner have proven to be memorable.
