Without a reservation we arrived with 8, they fixed a table for us under the trees and with a brilliant view on valley of Tuscany.The building is over 600 years old, it serves a restaurant and Hotel with 25 rooms.Travel back in time with the luxere off today, this place has it all.Try there own Limoncello, very good!

There has been possible to order pizza at other restaurant in Montecarlo, but this is the first real pizzeria in Montecarlo itself. And when I say Montecarlo itself is in the âcentreâ of Montecarlo.We have our local pizzeria in San Salvatore that we use to visit n a regular weekly basis, but it is nice to have the alternative in Montecarlo.We enjoy a good Napoletani pizza, service is great and we enjoy the place the pizzeria is. I am sure we will be back either it is a busy wine festival day or not.

The facade promises little and takes commitment to look inside as you have to descend steps from the main piazza into the bar but once inside you'll be glad you did, the wood paneling everywhere will make those missing their pub and finding the typical Italian bar hard to get used to instantly feel at home, the atmosphere is good and the selection of beers excellent, some on draught but most in bottle, U.K. and German beers dominate but others from Belgium are here too, you'll pay a premium for these imported beers but it's worth it, there is also a large menu which revolves around combinations of German sausages although burgers and chilli can be found too.

The food was amazing and the owner of the place were really good at explaining the components in every dish. We had the jalapeños, and onion rings as side dishes, they both were super tasty. We also had tacos; and they were stuffed with tasty vegetables and meat. My boyfriend had the chilli dog. The owner warned us it was really spicy, and oh boy it was.. tasty though. They also had a great selection of beers on tap. Really good beers. Would really recommend a visit here. Great food, great beer, great staff!
