This is a very friendly English run bar/cafe. Food excellent and a nice place to watch the world go by. Free WiFi is a bonus.

The Irish Bar is one of the first places we visit when we get to Hondon and why wouldn't you with the relaxed atmosphere, great menu and friendly staff drawing you in.They cater for families with a children's menu, chicken nuggets and chips a firm favourite with my children and of course the excellent selection of ice creams they have to offer!!My family are looking forward to our Summer Holidays spending many long summer evenings at the Irish Bar, sitting outside having a few drinks and enjoying some excellent pub grub!!Hi Elizabeth, ah, those long summer evenings! We cannot wait either as The Irish Bar comes into its own with guests being able to sit outside enjoying our hospitality deep into the sultry Mediterranean night. Thank you for your very kind review and it is very pleasing for us to be acknowledged as a family venue, children are always made very welcome. We will make sure the ice creams are in good supply for your return. See you in the summer.

My friends and I visited Lukey's on Saturday afternoon and were very impressed by this new bar, which was friendly and spacious. In particular, I was delighted that real ale is on offer - a rare commodity in these parts! I loved the beer and the conversation with the landlord who discussed the wonderful ales which will soon be arriving. We look forward to many future visits and also will try the fish and chips.

Arrived early whilst the rest of the town were following a huge procession through the townWaiter found us an unreserved table and we received good service and very decent tapas. Priced modestly and a great atmosphere in a lively town square setting. Canât fault it at all. Good tapas restaurant and the Merluza Zeppelins are awesome
