Only had coffee which was very good and bought some bread. The bread looked yummy but was a bit dry. The cakes looked excellent but didn't try them. The power was off when we went so no A/C. Fans on but still really hot. Would go again to try the cakes.

We were thoroughly impressed by the food, atmosphere, and service on our first try at the new restaurant, Kerbino’s. Seating is very comfortable both inside and out on the terrace. The place is tastefully decorated and very impressive, especially for Juba. We were a party of 7, and were impressed that all the dishes came out at the same time with orders accurate, even though one member of our party had arrived and ordered later than the rest. The food was also excellent – my husband had the chicken and ribs, and I had the chicken schnitzel– both were delicious, and we did not come home with any leftovers. The option of sides includes mashed potatoes, which were delicious. The menu is broad, with options of pizza, burgers, and European main dishes. Our colleagues have tried the pizza, and said it was some of the best they have had in Juba. One member of our party tried a milkshake (with comes with or without liquor), and said it was good (a refreshing treat in Juba’s heat). It is a little more expensive than most restaurants in Juba, but dining there is a great experience. One note –t here were a couple of errors on our bill, but the staff were helpful in getting them sorted out. Seems like they are still getting technical issues sorted out with a new restaurant.

The atmosphere is excellent, being riverside among lush forest is quite the experience. The service was also good. The drinks are a bit expensive for local rates, but in line with what westerners and Europeans normally pay ($6US for double shot of whiskey, $2US for local beers, and about $10US for mixed drinks). Tried eating there prior Sunday along with today, and no a la carte ordering, just buffet. 3600 local or about $12-25US depending on exchange rate for it and though limited, it was very good. The steak was tender and tandori chicken grilled and tasty, but jot truly tandori style. Though the steak was spiced to perfection. Side dishes were adequate and didn’t try desserts.
